He studied at Eton College gaining A-level's in geography, biology and history of art. Upon leaving the famous public school, he decided to take a gap year. In his year off he took part in British Army training in Belize before working as a volunteer with Raleigh International in southern Chile.
Prince William then attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland, studying Arts History before changing his main subject to Geography.
In January 2006, the Prince decided to train as an Officer Cadet at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He joined his younger brother Harry, who had been at the famous army school since May 2005.
