Craig Doyle was born on December 17th 1970 in Dublin, Ireland. He studied Sociology and History at St. Patrick's College, followed by Broadcast Journalism at the London College of Printing.
After graduating, Craig managed to find a job on BBC local radio. But Craig soon decided that it was in television where he wanted to be, and began looking for work as a tv presenter.
Craig's camera friendly appearance and immense charm ensured that he didn't need to wait long. He was offered a job as a presenter on UTV's Disney Club. This led to appearances on shows such as Tomorrow's World and Fasten Your Seatbelt.
In 1999, Craig became the new presenter of the travel show Holiday on BBC1. The likeable Irishman made the programme his own, and his five years on the popular show made him a housewife's favourite.
In 2004, he began hosting The Craig Doyle Show, his own entertainment programme for Irish television. It was also at this time, that the BBC decided to try Craig out as a sports presenter. Of course, Mr Doyle was a complete success and ever since then he has been a key member of the channel's sport broadcasts.
Craig Lives in Dublin with his wife Doon and their son Quin. The family also have a home in Kew, West London.
