Josh Hartnett

Joshua Daniel Hartnett, or Josh Hartnett as we know him, was born on July 21st 1978 in San Francisco, California. He graduated from South High School in Minneapolis, before attending The State University of New York.

His acting career began playing Michael Fitzgerald in the American version of Cracker (1997). His role as Cracker's son may not have set the world alight but it did lead to a role in the movie Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998).

Josh's screen presence was obvious, and he was soon racking up the movies with highlights including The Faculty (1998), The Virgin Suicides (1999) and Town & Country (2001).

In 2001 he played Capt. Danny Walker in the blockbuster movie Pearl Harbor. Although the film was universally panned, it did make a great deal of money and helped establish Josh as a genuine movie star.

Since then Josh has appeared in numerous well known movies such as Black Hawk Down (2001), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002) and most recently Lucky Number Slevin (2006)
